Trojan removers

The Netbus client...

Guess I don't have to tell you very much about this picture, it speaks by itself...

Anyway, this site contains lots of trojan removing applications and trojan information in general.
Trojans are perhaps the biggest threat to Windows users today. A trojan can delete your whole harddrive or mess up system files. If you want further information on trojans, go to the Trojan news section.

These programs below are the best tools to get rid of the trojan problem. Read the text and download what you need!

Antigen
This is actually one of the most reliable programs for removal of the BO server. Antigen detects any activity concerning Back Orifice and "burns" the server.

Anti Sockets de Troie 2.5
This program deletes the infamous trojan, Sockets de troie, which creates a backdoor and the dangerous "script.ini", or installs three fake programs and stays resident till removal.

Back Fire 1.31
Back Fire is a quite big program for BO-protection. Works like Netbuster, but specialised on Back Orifice servers.

Backwork 2.0
Backwork is a multi trojan deleting application, although not as far developed as "Cleaner 2.1".

Bo Detect 2.5
This is a BO scanner. You can configure it to scan for BO every 10 minute, making you feel safe that you haven't got any BO server in memory. This program is not as reliable as Antigen but contains more features.

BO Eliminator
Specialised program to delete the Back Orifice server.

BO Freeze
Having this program could be considered quite fun, cause it'll lock up the client - meaning the person that tries to remote control your computer will have his BO-client hanged.

Bo Remove
Another removing tool for the BO server.

BO Scanner
Works almost like a virus scanner, but this application will only search for signatures comparing to BO.

Bo Spy
Like Netbuster, this program will fake and send back a ping to the person running the client. Removes the server.

BusJack
This is a program to trust. People in #Nohack, on DALnet, recommends this tool for removal of Netbus.

Cleaner 2.1
The cleaner contains absolutely most trojans. 138 known signatures in the database (990812) and more are added weekly. The cleaner scans all your files and compares each one of them to all the known signatures. After scanning your harddrive, The Cleaner specifies the directory of the infected file (if there are any trojan[s]. After removal, you can feel safe knowing there are no trojans in your computer! There's a new version coming soon with lot's of additional features.

EXbus
This program is written by one of the Ops in #Nohack on DALnet, IRC. It's a removal application for the infamous EXbus trojan. Thanks RichG!
Currently unavalable

Icq Nuke Trojen Scan
A new application that detects the BO trojan.

InControl 1.1
InControl analyses your system after installing files. When reading the report you'll see if there were any changes that shouldn't be.

Lockdown 2000 3.0
Lockdown 2000 is the ultimate security application. It's not only a firewall, but also the perfect trojan scanner. In v. 3.0, there are 301 signatures that Lockdown scans for. Another feature is that Lockdown traces an attempt from a Netbus connection. So if anyone tries to connect to your machine, Lockdown will trace the ISP and the current ip from the attack. A new feature is nuke protection. A very secure, reliable and stabil program!!

Millenium Clean
Removes the Millenium trojan from your system.

Nbk Script
This is a mIRC script that detects the Netbus server in your memory.

Netbuster 1.31
This program is great when it comes to removal of all Netbus types. Scans your memory for the Netbus server on every startup if you want. The application is written by a Swede, living 1 mile from me. There will not be any further versions. Some of the reason is that many backdoors are coded different today.

No BO
Another Back Orifice cleaner.

No netbus
Another Netbus removal tool.

Toiletpaper
Another application that plugs your system from BO.

Various Bo Cleaner
Also a new program that detects the modified versions of Back Orifice.
